The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC says landlords whose houses are used by Cyber fraudster popularly known as “Yahoo boys.” to run their illegal businesses will face 15 years jail term when apprehended.
The Commission made this known ahead of its next edition of public conversation series tagged, “ #EFCCConnect,” which has been slated for 6pm, Wednesday, June 29th 2022 on Twitter Space.

The EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, who met with hotel owners in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital to sensitize the hospitality business community on how to work with the Commission to tame the tide of cyber crimes also accused some of the hotel owners of working with suspected fraudsters by providing accomodations for them over a long period and making internet facilities available.
The EFCC had repeatedly warned house owners and Estate agents against making their property available to Cyber fraudsters and criminals.
