Following rumour that the Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Baba Tela has resigned from office, he has dismissed such describing it as an act by political saboteurs.
This was contained in a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Sani Muazu saying that the baseless report on social media was a figment of the imagination by the writer.

The statement says, the Deputy Governor, remains committed to the objectives and ideas of the Bauchi State Government under the able leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed.
While reiterating his support and loyalty to the Governor, the statement warns rumour mongers to desist from causing disharmony through posting unverified information.
