Otukpo the traditional headquarters of the Idoma and Igede speaking people of Benue State wore a colourful ambience
as the historic official presentation of the staff of office to the Ochi Idoma the 5th took place.
The symbolic presentation is closely followed by other religious and traditional rites.
The 5th paramount leader of the Idoma and Igede nation, Agabaidu John Elaigwu Odogbo, who is a Pastor, assumed his throne with the declaration of peace and development upon the land.
The Chairman of the State Council Of Chiefs, the Tor-Tiv Orchivirigh James Ayatse, welcomed the new monarch into his fold.
The symbol of the Idoma and Igede kingdom was officially established by the presentation of the staff of office and the coronation ceremony.
