The Federal government has assured of speedy completion of work on the Kaduna-Zaria road and the Kaduna-Pambeguwa-Jos road by the end of 2022.
The Director, Highway Construction and Rehabilitation, Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Folorunsho Esan, gave the assurance during a two day inspection of the on-going works on the roads.
Esan said, given the extent of work done, the road will be completed within the year.
The Director who expressed satisfaction with the quality of work along the Kaduna-Pambeguwa-Jos road said, a lot has been achieved within 10 months when work on the site commenced.
The contractors who also assured of speedy completion ahead of the projected time, said issues that would have hindered the progression have been adequately resolved.
The roads which will link up with the Abuja-Kaduna road is valued at over 38 billion naira.
