The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has confiscated about 3.6 billion Naira while 10 houses acquired illegally have also been forfeited in Lagos and Ilorin.
The Zonal Head of Ilorin office, Isyaku Sharu, made the statement on Monday.
In a bid to enlighten the general public on the danger associated with corrupt practices, the Ilorin Zonal office of the EFCC embarked on a sensitization rally in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
Addressing reporters, Sharu noted that the essence of the rally is to encourage the world to unite against corruption.
In his remark, the State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, who also joined the rally, noted that the fight against corruption is a responsibility of all Nigerians.
