The National Population Commission, NPC, says arrangements have been concluded to begin House Numbering And Household Listing, ahead of the Trial Census to be conducted in the Daura Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The NPC Federal Commissioner representing Katsina, Bala Banye, made the declaration at the end of a second stakeholders’ meeting, held in the area to fine-tune arrangements.
Rising from the stakeholder’s meeting, the Federal Commissioner, National Population Commission in Katsina, Bala Banye, said they have perfected all arrangements for the digital trial census to begin soon
He told the stakeholders that, all the field personnel have completed their intensive training, and are ready for the exercise.

According to Banye, the Building Numbering And Household Listing will commence on July 13, 2022, and will end on the 18.
He said the enumerators are expected to
visit all residential and non-residential buildings within their Enumeration Areas, and number the buildings, and list the number of households in the building.
The Federal Commissioner, therefore, said the commission has requested total support and cooperation from the stakeholders and the people, which they all agreed to, in one voice.
