The Edo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has conducted supplementary primaries for Ikpoba-Okha/Egor Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Ikpoba-Okha Constituency in the State House of Assembly.
The supplementary primaries conducted by a four man Electoral Committee set up by the National Headquarters of the PDP are coming after the death of the member representing the Federal Constituency, Jude Ise-Idehen, on July 1st, 2022 after securing a second term ticket.
Chairman of the Committee, Kolawole Shittu, adjudged the exercise free and credible.
The member representing Ikpoba-Okha at the Edo State House of Assembly, Henry Okhuarobo was declared winner of the primary for the Ikpoba-Okha/Egor Federal Constituency after he polled fifty four votes to defeat four others.
His replacement at the State Assembly is Nicholas Asonsere who emerged winner after getting twenty eight votes to defeat Richard Egharevba and Esosa Ogbeifun.
