A civil society groups for peace, sustainable security and national development has called for clearly defined roles for security officials, when dealing with perceived threat.
The group made their position known during a march to the national assembly on Thursday.
The convener, Adamu Matazu says they approached the assembly to express concerns over agitations in some quarters about continued detention of some persons.
The group’s three paged letter to the assembly was received by Senator Jibrin Baurou who pledged to deliver their message.
