The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika is set to meet the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, to get Forex official rate for airline operators.
Sirika will also meet Major Oil marketers and other stakeholders in the aviation sector to resolve the increasing cost of aviation fuel.
The minister has appealed to air passengers to be patient and give the Federal Government time to put an end to the shortage of jet A-1, and the rising Forex, towards reducing delays, cancellations and the high cost of air tickets.
He said the aviation crisis is not only in Nigeria but a global problem.
Airline operators of Nigeria say they are satisfied with the resolutions reached with the Minister Of Aviation, and assure air travellers that the issue of delay and cancellation of flights are being resolved.
