Following the renewed wave of terrorists’ attacks using motorcycles as their mode of operations, the katsina state police command has reinforced the ban on motorcycles movement across the state.
According to a statement by the spokesman of the police, Superintendent Gambo Isah, the ban on the movement of motorcycles from 10 pm to 6 am in Katsina city is still in force, while for those in the 13 Frontline Local Government Areas it’s from 6 pm to 6 am.

Isah added that, the ban was temporary lifted to ease movement during the just concluded Ramadan period saying, the enforcement became necessary because of the recent threat to security caused by terrorists and other criminals riding on motorcycles.
