Kogi state government says it has introduced various initiatives aimed at making health care delivery accessible and affordable for residents of the state
State commissioner for health, Zakari Usman who said this in Lokoja while responding to questions from journalists, called on residents to take ownership of government’s health infrastructures in their localities.
To ensure that residents are healthy and productive, the State Commissioner for Health, Zakari Usman says the Yahaya Bello administration aside infrastructural development in the health sector, has introduced several initiatives aimed at making health care delivery affordable for residents.
With several hospital projects completed and some near completion in the three senatorial districts of the state, Doctor Zakari wants residents to justify government’s spending by taking ownership of the infrastructure to serve them better.
