The National Population Commission, (NPC) says the challenges and rough edges identified in the just concluded trial census in Brass Council Area of Bayelsa State will be taken into account to avoid a repeat when the actual enumeration begins next year.
The Federal Commissioner for Bayelsa State, Gloria Izonfuo stated this at her office in Yenagoa, while speaking on the outcome of the trial census.
According to Izonfuo, the exercise which lasted for over two weeks involved field officers who successfully numbered building, households, and individuals.
She however said the exercise presented some challenges which have been noted with solutions already proffered.
