Plateau State High Court sitting in jos has granted an injunction restraining Plateau State Government from signing an MOU with Jaiz Bank for the reconstruction of the burnt Jos Main Market.
The Injunction order which was secured by the Member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency of Plateau State, Dachung Bagos, was granted on Tuesday August 2, 2022 by Hon. Justice S. P Gang.

The ordee restrains the Plateau State Government and Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Plateau State from signing any MOU with Jaiz Bank pending hearing of the substantive suit.
Bagos, had approached the court to seek for an injunction following Protest and concerns raised on the terms of agreement of the project by some citizens of the state after the Plateau State Government had concluded arrangements with Jaiz Bank for the rebuilding of the market.
