The recent attack by suspected Fulani militias in Danda Chugwi Community of Vwang District, Jos South Local Government Area has left seven people killed and two injured, leaving pains and sorrows on their trail.

The people are still in shock of the dastardly act which left a four-month-old baby critically lying at the Vom Christian Hospital. The four-month-old baby, David Pam, whose right arm was traumatically amputated by the assailants was left in pain, as his father and mother were both killed.

The Medical Superintendent of Vom Christian Hospital, Fredrick Dachung, where the baby and other injured persons were rushed, said baby David lost a lot of blood and needs assistance from members of the public to survive. Some of the eyewitnesses said the attack came as a surprise because they have over the years lived with the alleged attackers peacefully.

The former Chairman of Riyom Local Government Area, Josephine Piyo, while sympathising with the families of those killed and the injured, said the government should take more proactive steps at prosecuting the perpetrators of the evil act.

The people called on the government to come to their aid to tackle the guerilla-style attacks which have been incessant in their communities.
