The Peoples Democratic Party Board of Trustee has said that efforts are underway to reconcile the leaders of the Party with the Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike and other aggrieved members.
The Acting secretary of the BoT Senator Abdul Ningi stated this while Briefing Newsmen after a closed door meeting at the party’s headquarters in Abuja. The BoT meeting is coming days after Governor Wike reacted to a recent interview by the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
The BoT harps on the need to unite the party ranks as it moves into what they described as an important electoral cycle in 2023.
