Terrorists operating in the forest area of Jibiya Local Government Area of Katsina State, North-West Nigeria have launched a daring attacks on Natsinta village, that shares boundary with the 35 Battalion of the Nigerian Army.
The community is also opposite the new Katsina Custodial Centre, where 13 villagers were abducted snd rustling domestic animals. Natsinta is just a stone throw from Katsina metropolis.
A source said the attack which occurred at about 9pm on Tuesday, saw the terrorists moving house to house in search of those to abduct.
He alleged that there was no resistance, as the terrorists freely carried out their operations.
It was gathered that 26 persons were abducted into the forest, but 13 persons escaped at about 2am and returned to the village.
The remaining 13 victims were made up of 4 housewives, 2 young girls and 7 children.
