Nigeria’s Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, says it Is ready to support the Tanzania Revenue Authority in developing its tax administration system.
FIRS Coordinating Director, Muhammad Lawal-Abubakar said this while receiving a Tanzanian delegation which is in Nigeria on a study tour to the FIRS.
The representative of the Tanzanian Tax Authority, Mcha Hassan-Mcha, said his country is looking forward to using Nigeria’s Value Added Tax, VAT, model.
The delegation expressed interest in furthering their country’s bilateral relations with Nigeria.
