Operatives of the Amotekun Corps in Ondo State, South-West Nigeria have intercepted 151 invaders suspected to be probably planning an attack.
State Commander of Amotekun, Adetunji Adeleye while profiling the invaders who were caught with dangerous weapons and charms on Friday said the suspects were intercepted along the Akure-Ado Ekiti Road.


Five months after the arrest of 63 suspected invaders, Amotekun Corps in Ondo State have again intercepted another 151 persons whose destination could not be ascertained.
Adeleye said the alleged invaders who were coming from Kastina, Kano and Jigawa states, were loaded in two trucks transporting rice and beans.

Adeleye said the move is to avert any security threat in the state and by extension the South-West geo-political zone.
The Corps Commander also disclosed that, the suspects will be returned to their respective states after proper profiling.
Adeleye advised residents to be vigilant and work towards partnering with security agencies to reduce crime in Ondo State.
