No fewer than eight terrorists including their leader, Abdulkarim Faka-Faka have been killed during an aerial raid by the Nigerian Air Force in a forest in Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State, North-West Nigeria.
A top security source who pleaded anonymity told AIT.live that the operation was a mop-up.
He added that, the operation which happened on Saturday evening rolled over into Sunday morning, with many of the terrorists fleeing but, all their rustled cows perished. It was also gathered that, many of the terrorists escaped with bullet wounds.

While the military is yet to react to the aerial bombardment as at the time of this report, NAF fighter jets were seen hovering in the sky across Katsina State.
