Following the renewed wave of terrorists activities, and their nearness to the state capital, the Katsina State House of Assembly has resolved to meet Governor Aminu Masari and President Muhammadu Buhari, over the worsening insecurity in the state. The Chairman of the Assembly’s Committee on Information, Ali Al-Baba said this while briefing newsmen on the assembly’s concern, over the worsening insecurity in the state.
He noted that the assembly receive daily reports of terrorist attacks across the state, which they have found very worrisome.
The lawmaker described the current insecurity in the state as unacceptable, saying that urgent measures to arrest the situation must be taken.
Al-baba also said he supports the governor’s call for people to defend themselves against the terrorists, rather than wait for the government.
