Members of the National union of Electricity Employees Tuesday picketed the Lagos office of the Transmission Company of Nigeria.
The action was taken following what the union described as inappropriate handling of policy matters in the electricity sector value chain, including welfare issues of members.

The workers while chanting solidarity songs at the front of the office of the transmission company of Nigeria said, the picketing was not designed to undermine the sector but to draw attention to critical issues needed to drive development in the nation’s power sector.
