Governor Samuel Ortom says the time has come for the countless displaced persons in Benue State, North-Central Nigeria to return to their ancestral homes. This he says follows the recent inauguration of the Community Volunteer Guards as it will be a fight for the survival of the State.

Ortom who made the declaration before the State Executive council meeting equally spoke on his recent meeting with the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi. He insists that there is nothing wrong with a strategic alignment across party lines with the sole objective to rescue a country gasping for breath.

He maintained that all the Presidential candidates were equally free to meet with him as he is free to receive any one who comes visiting or seeking audience with me.
