The Benue State Government has ordered the immediate employment of 2500 primary school teachers.
State Governor Samuel Ortom who said this while receiving executive members of the State Youth Parliament and National Union of Benue State students NUBESS at Government House in Makurdi also said his administration has other plans to boost education at the the state.
He also expressed concern over the prolonged strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU.
Governor Ortom urged his visitors to make maximum use of their social media platforms to yield great financial benefits.
He urged the students to steer clear of negative social vices and rise up to the their responsibilities as student leaders
