Cross River State Police Commissioner, Aminu Alhassan, has advised warned against taking photographs capable of compromising national security, especially as the 2023 election campaigns are about to begin
The Police Commissioner handed down the warning in Calabar during activities organized by the National Association of Media Practitioners to mark the 2022 World Photography Day.
Alhassan who commended photographers and the media in general for reporting state activities through their lenses ,warned that stern action will be taken against pictures capable of disturbing peace or causing disharmony in the state.

President of the Cross River State Chapter of the Association of Media Practitioners in Nigeria, Nsa Ekpenyong assured the police and other security agencies of his members respect for the state guided protocols and rules of engagements while doing their jobs.
