The Bayelsa state government says it has recorded ten confirmed cases of the dreaded monkey pox disease so far and that while eight patients have been discharged, two were still undergoing treatment.
Speaking exclusively to AIT in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state commissioner for health, Pabara Igwele hinted that the state government was putting preventive measures in place in order for the disease not to spared.
