The Nigerian Army has dismissed two soldiers over the murder of an Islamic, Sheikh Goni Aisami Gashua in Yobe State, North-East Nigeria.
Assistant Director of Army Public Relations Headquarters, Sector 2 Operation Hadin Kai, Captain Kennedy Anyanwu who confirmed this to AIT.live in a telephone conversation says the soldiers attached to 241 Recce Battalion Nguru in Yobe State were dismissed after finding them guilty on two-count charge
The suspects including Lance Corporal John Gabriel and Lance Corporal Adamu Gideon had their ranks reduced to private before their complete dismissal from service.
Earlier, the police in Yobe State had arrested the soldiers for killing the renowned Islamic cleric.
