More troubles for Bauchi State Government as more roads in the State become deplorable and impassible with heavy downpours.
Worst hit is Doka Gwallameji, which is home to at least seven different communities.
The poor conditions of the roads have forced people in the affected communities to appeal to the State government to quickly come to their aid.
In the time being, members of community members are doing the bit they can to fix their only access road.

The bad state of the roads have exposed many residents of the communities to serious damages including loss of lives especially during child birth.
It has also become increasingly difficult for children to go to school each time it rains.
There are fears that the communities which are only few metres away from Bauchi city centre may be completely cut off if measures are not quickly taken to rescue the situation.
But apart from from the condition of the roads, the community is also in need of other basic social amenities like schools, hospitals and potable drinking water.
