The Traditional Ruler of Pinau, in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State Dauda Muhammad, who was earlier kidnapped by Bandits have been Rescued.
Muhammad, who was kidnapped in the early hours of Tuesday on his way to Wase Town with one Yakuba Bala, was later rescued around 2pm during a joint Operation carried out by the Army, Police and members of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria.
The spokesman for the Special Task Force “Operation Safe Haven” in Plateau State, Major Ishaku Takwa while Confirming the development to AIT said on receiving the information, the joint team swung into action and launched a rescue operation within bushes in the area.
Takwa further disclosed that the rescued victims have been reunited with their family.
