As part of efforts to resolve its degenerating internal crisis the acting Chairman board of trustees of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Adolphus Wabara has visited the Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom who is the leader of the party in the North central region.
While expressing optimism that the conflict will be resolved and the party will emerge victorious in the 2023 general election the Acting BOT chairman promised to meet with all parties as adviced by the State Governor.
Members led by the Chairman board of trustees of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, are in the State to consult with the state’s Party leader amidst its internal crisis.

Before they disclosed the outcome of their closed door deliberation the team headed for the commissioning of the remodeled lodge named after the first civilian governor of the State late Aper Aku situated within the government house.
Shortly after the BOT chairman disclosed their plans to reach out to other aggrieved party members particularly the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike.
The host Governor Samuel Ortom said he remains open to dialogue to resolve the crisis gradually tearing the country’s main opposition party apart.
