A visit to the road by ait.live saw commencement of rehabilitation work on deplorable sections of the road.
While many could not hold back their excitement, they want the rivers state governments to pay more attention to the drainage system and if necessary expand the road for future purposes.
For about two years the SARS road has posed a major challenge to Residents and road users but with rehabilitation work in progress, the expectations of many is that the road would be given adequate attention.
