Offa Volleyball Club, customs win 2022 Nigeria premier league

The men’s team of Offa Volleyball Club and the female side of the Nigeria Customs Service on Sunday emerged the champion of the Nigeria Volleyball Premier League competition.

The Offa Volleyball Club beat Nigeria Correctional Service 3-2 (25-16, 23-25, 25-17, 17-25, 15-11) in the men’s category on the final day of the league.

Also,the Nigeria Customs Service emerged the champions of the 2022 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League,women’s category.

Nigeria Customs Service beat Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) 3-0 (25-23, 27-25, 25-21) on the final day of the league .

The Coach of Offa Volleyball Club, Suleiman Ajeigbe said he was happy for the victory and that the trophy would be returning to Offa community for the first time.

Ajeigbe said he appreciated his players for executing the game plan and playing to instructions.

Also speaking, Coach of Customs Female team, Sunny Akapson, said the excitement being felt was as a result of hardwork, determination and dedication.
