The Ikeja electric distribution company has confirmed monday’s early morning system collapse of the National grid, which the company disclosed occurred at about 10.50hours.
The company in a press statement issued monday, while apologising to its customers, said the grid collapse which has affected transmission stations within its network has resulted in loss of power supply, resulting in the current outage within its jurisdiction in Lagos.

The press statement further stated that all is being done to ensure normalcy returns to the supply chain, to enable electricity consumers enjoy energy at affordable cost.
