The system collapse of the national grid that led to power outage on Monday morning is being addressed.
Power restoration began across the country with distribution companies like Kano Electricity Distribution company tweeting they were given, 50MW of electricity which is being distributed equitably across its franchise.

Enugu Distribution company informed its customers that after the system collapse early Monday, 26th September, 2022, two of the TCN interface Stations at Nibo and Awada received supply at 12.36pm and 12:37pm respectively, with a directive by NCC to maintain only 7MW.
As at 3pm Monday, available record shows only three generation companies were generating electricity, with total generation at 223mw.
The Transmission Company of Nigeria has still not reacted to the incident.
