The management of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, (NAIA) has identified epileptic power supply and political interferences as the two major challenges confronting it in the running of airport in the last 40 years.
The NAIA Manager, Kabiru Mohammed stated this during the 40 years anniversary of the airport in Abuja on Thursday.

The Manager of the airport also said it has not decided on the amount to charge for the automated car park.
He however said car owners will not commence payment on the earlier scheduled date of September 29th until after the independence celebrations.
The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, was commissioned on the 29th September, 1982 with less than 300 air passengers to serve the North-Central region of Nigeria and beyond.
