The no-love-lost between the National Working Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Team may be aggravated following the exclusion of the its members from the Women Campaign Team.
The name of the National Woman Leader and member of the National Working Committee, Betty Edu is missing on the list of 1,275-member Tinubu-Shettima Women Presidential
Campaign Team list released on Saturday in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Also excluded from the list is the Deputy National Woman leader, Zainab Ibrahim.
The Abdullahi Adamu-led National Working Committee is at daggers drawn with the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu over the list of the main campaign council released last week.

This latest development in the Tinubu-Shettima Women Presidential
Campaign Team may aggravate the frosty relationship between the NWC and the holders of the APC Presidential ticket.
According to a statement by Rinsola Abiola of the Women’s Campaign office, Nigeria’s First Lady Aisha Buhari will lead the women in the campaign in her capacity as the Grand Patron.
Wife of the APC Presidential candidate, Oluremi Tinubu is Chairman of the team while the wife of the Vice Presidential candidate will co-chair the women campaign team.
Wife of Vice President Dolapo Osinbajo was also effectively excluded from the list.
Other prominent women listed in the campaign team are the Director-General of the National Centre for Women Development, Asabe Vilita as National Coordinator while presidential side, Lauretta Onochie has been listed as Deputy National Coordinator.
Wives of some of the Governors will act as zonal coordinators, while all APC Governors wives will coordinate the campaign in their various states. Coordinators have also been selected for states not controlled by the APC.
