Some PDP Governors said to be close associates of Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, who are opposing the continued stay in office of the Party’s National Chairman senator Iyocha Ayu met in Enugu on Sunday.
The five Governors met behind closed doors at the Government House, Enugu with Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as the host.

Other Governors said to have attended the meeting include, Nyesom Wike, Seyi Makinde, Okezie Ikpeazu, and Samuel Ortom.
Details of the meeting were not made public but may not be unconnected with the current internal disagreement in the PDP over agitations for power balancing in the running of the main opposition Party.
