Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has expressed sympathy to victims of recent flooding in Tunga, Awe and Rukubi, Doma local government areas of the state as well as management of Olam Integrated Rice Farm farm and Mills whose crops were completely submerged.
Governor Sule commiserated with them when he led the Nasarawa State Emergency Management Agency (NASEMA) and cabinet members on an assessment visit to the flood ravaged areas.
The governor during the visit presented relief materials and cash to affected persons to help cushion the effect of the situation.

On measures to improve the road conditions especially from Doma, Okpata to Rukubi, the Governor said plans are underway to mobilize a road construction firm to grade, surface, dress and deck the road to reduce the plight of commuters
Doma local government chairman, Ahmed Sarki Usman assured the governor of the support and lof the people of Doma for his administration , but equally lamented the growing sophistication in crime committed along the Doma-Rukubi axis.
In response, Governor Sule assured the council boss of his administration’s commitment to proffer workable solutions to the security situation in the areas by engaging all stakeholders and security heads.
