The Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC says the registration of two unions among university academics, is a violation of four existing laws and it stands rejected.
The two unions are the National Association of Medical and Dental Academics (NAMDA) and the Congress of Nigerian University Academics, CONUA.
NLC President, Ayuba Wabba was speaking on the sidelines of a roundtable on 2022 World Day for decent work.

On minimum wage, Wabba said Taraba and Abia states remain the only Two states yet to implement the National minimum wage, and it remains a violation of law
The theme of the 2022 World Day for decent work is “wage justice”.
