Governors and leaders of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, from the South South region of Nigeria are rallying support for the party in the upcoming elections in 2023.
At a meeting held in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital, the stakeholders urged aggrieved party members to bury their differences and help reposition the party for victory.

Sokoto state Governor and Director General of the party’s presidential campaign council, Aminu Tambuwal said their Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar was in a better position to lead the country out of its current gloom.
“Our candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is standing out as the most pan-Nigerian, the most competent, the most experienced and most prepared for the task ahead. Atiku/Okowa is the new wind of hope blowing across Nigeria. We will deliver him to Nigerians in February 2023 to provide the solutions to Nigeria’s problems”.
