Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde says he’s been very busy campaigning for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to ensure victory during the 2023 General Elections.
The governor said this while reacting to questions from State House Correspondents, on why he was absent from the PDP’s inaugural presidential campaign in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
Five state governors including Governor Makinde, Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Samuel Ortom of Benue, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, and Ifeanyi Ugwunayi of Enugu were absent during the party’s campaign flag-off in Uyo on Monday.
The five governors recently pulled out of the party’s presidential campaign team, after the party failed to meet their demand for the removal of the National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
