The Nasarawa State Peoples Democratic Party Chairman, Francis Orogu, has accused the Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, of delaying the instalment of the paramount Chief of the Eggon people for his political gains.
Francis said it’s been months since the passing away of the First-class Chief of the Eggon Nation, and a new chief is yet to be installed.
He said this during the inauguration of the Nasarawa State PDP Campaign Council for the 2023 General Elections.

In preparation to flag off the Governorship campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party in Nasarawa State, the party held its Campaign Council Inauguration Ceremony in the party secretariat in Lafia the state capital.
While speaking to party faithful, the state Party Chairman, Francis Orogu, said it is time to save the state from insecurity and backwardness, as he encouraged the people to vote wisely.
Also speaking, the PDP Board Of Trustees Chairman, Walid Jibrin, who doubles as the State Campaign Council Chairman, advised the party faithful to shun religious bigotry and vote for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, during the elections.
Labaran Maku, who is the Director General of the party’s campaign council, assured the people of Nasarawa State, that the party is stronger than ever, and is ready to take over power in the state.
The Governorship candidate of the party, David Ombugadu, called on the members of the party to join hands with all the candidates, to ensure victory at the polls, come 2023.
