Buhari scores administration high at last Ministerial Retreat

President Muhammadu Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari says his administration has met the yearnings and aspirations of Nigerians through the implementation of high-impact projects across the country.

The President said this during the opening of the last Ministerial Performance Review Retreat of his administration at the State house, Abuja, on Monday where he highlighted progress made in the areas of agriculture, economy, infrastructure, security, health, anti-corruption among others.

President Buhari outlines some of the key achievements of his administration in various sectors.

The President and his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo, spoke on efforts to revamp the economy and the fight against corruption.

In his Keynote address titled, “enabling delivery and managing transition,” former President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, cautioned the incoming government in Nigeria against reinventing existing projects.

The British high commissioner to Nigeria, Catriona lang, in a good will message, spoke on the need for government at all levels in the country to build trust and confidence.

The leadership of the national assembly promised to continue to work closely with the executive in efforts to achieve national objectives.

The two-day retreat has been structured into three focus areas.

The retreat with the theme, “Enhance security, fight corruption and transform the economy” is expected to come up with robust recommendations that will have positive impacts on governance in Nigeria
