The National Population Commission says it is set to conduct a post enumeration survey in the six states where the 2022 Trial census was carried out ahead of the 2023 National Population and Housing Census.
The chairman of the commission, Isa Kwarra, who said this during a media briefing in Abuja, explained that the exercise will help the commission to present a credible, reliable and generally acceptable census data to Nigerians.

The post enumeration survey which begins on October 18, 2022 is expected to cover 127 enumeration areas.
The Chairman, National Population Commission, Isa Kwarra, said the exercise will determine content errors among other things.
The commission had in July 2022 conducted a trial census in six local government areas in six states and the FCT to test run the new technology to be adopted in the 2023 National Population and Housing Census.
