Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu describes Rivers and Lagos States as the headquarters of money laundering in Nigeria.

Magu stated this in Port Harcourt while inspecting 245 trucks of suspected automatic gasoline oil impounded by the Nigerian Army.

He stated that the content in the impounded trucks by the Nigerian Army are up for auctioning to members of the public.

Magu reaffirmed the anti-graft agency’s readiness to tackle corruption to a standstill. He said the Commission has secured the conviction of three former governors with 245 other convictions in 2019
