With Gov.Wike fulfilling virtually all the promises he made to the people of the State, the Rivers State Governor says he will leave office a very happy man.

Speaking during an inspection of some projects in the State, Governor Wike who on Friday would be honoured with the Distinguished Award in Infrastructure Delivery by the Federal Government says all the twenty Local Government Areas of the State have imprints of his administration especially in the areas of road infrastructure, healthcare delivery, education and lots more.

Accompanied by his friend and former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike was at the Rumuokuta area of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area to inspect one of the signature projects of his administration… the multi-billion naira Dr. Peter Odili cancer, Cardiovascular Diseases, Diagnostic and treatment Centre…

With cancer and cardiovascular diseases now among the leading causes of death in Nigeria, the Centre, which is arguably, the first of its kind in the country is seen as a bold attempt by the Wike Administration to reduce suffering, provide treatment and make early diagnosis of the diseases as well as reduce the need for medical treatment abroad.
