Delta state governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has applauded the supreme Court judgement that declared Oborevwori Sheriff as Delta state Governorship Candidate and describes the hurdles before the judgement as a test of faith.

Governor Okowa who made this declaration during a thanksgiving Service held at Government House Chapel to celebrate the Supreme Court affirmation of Oborevwori candidature thanked God for keeping everyone alive to see the end of the legal battle even as he charged him to ensure that the fire in the government House Chapel remains aglow.

Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori in his reaction ascribed all glory to God.

Both the governor, his wife, the speaker, and other govt officials danced to the alter in thanksgiving and Praise unto the Lord.

It would be recalled that David Edevbie after loosing at the Appeal Court approached the supreme Court to further challenge the emergence of Oborevwori as PDP candidate, a case that ended in favour of Oborevwori.
