The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel has commended the efforts of the Nigerian Air Force in combating security challenges confronting the country.
Governor Emmanuel gave the commendation at the Nigerian Air Force Operations Seminar 2022 holding in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
The top echelon of the Nigerian Air Force were in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom state for their 2022 Operations Seminar with the theme , “ Harnessing NAF Combat Experience In Joint Operations For Doctrinal Development .”
Special Guest of Honour, Governor Udom Emmanuel appreciated the choice of the state for the seminar and the Air Force’s successes in tackling insecurity.
Chief of the Air Staff, Isiaku Amoo expressed gratitude to the Akwa Ibom State Government for its support to the force.
Amoo stated that the seminar is to seek better ways of improving its efficiency

He reminded personnel of the force the importance of adhering to rules of engagement in carrying out their duties.
The Air Force chief noted that there has been sustained drive to ensure requisite equipment and crew availability for the safe conduct of operations.
