The three-man panel lead by Justice Haruna Tsanami has ordered that the outcome of the appeal be forwarded to the Supreme Court within seven days for expeditious hearing.
The appeal court held that Kanu’s counter affidavit filed by his lead lawyer Mike Ozekhome SAN, was misleading.

The federal government had filed the stay of execution of the judgement pending the determination of the substantive appeal at the Supreme Court.
