The Executive council of the federation has given approval for variation order, in respect of repair works on the east-west road project affected during the recent flooding in the Niger Delta.
The council meeting which was chaired by the vice President, Yemi Osinbajo also gave approval for the award of contracts for urgent repair and special general maintenance of some other roads Nation wide.

The memo presented by the minister of works and housing Babatunde Fashola is an indication of the federal government continued efforts to provide relief and to resolve issues around the recent flooding in some parts of the country.
The ministry of science, technology and innovation also got approval to secure partnership for the upgrade, equipping, operating and marketing of space museum and planetarium.
