Senator Ademola Adeleke has been sworn in as the 6th Executive Governor of Osun State in South-West Nigeria along with his Deputy, Kola Adewusi
The State Chief Judge, Adebola Adepele Ojo administered the oaths of allegiance and office on Governor Ademola Adeleke and his deputy, Kola Adewusi.

The immediate past Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola who is a member of APC is, however, challenging the victory of Senator Ademola Adeleke of the PDP at the Osun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal.
INEC declared Senator Adeleke the winner of the July 16 Governorship election in Osun State as Oyetola lost his bid for re-election.
